ISTA AOS synchronisiert den FA und schreibt das iLevel.
Wei schon geschrieben muss das erledigt sein bevor das Fahrzeug zu ConnectedDrive hinzugefügt wird. Brauchst die SA’s nur hinzufügen, der Werks-FA wird eh nie geändert.

Is it still works for non-LCI F10/F11 ?
My 09/2012 (German market) with factory fitted NBT had a paid subscription until mid of 2025 (BMW Online/Assist), but i was not able to extend it by next year because 'item" was removed from the store for my car, and CD Service told me that is too old and no longer supported. My current options are 612, 615, etc.
Can someone confirm if described way is still valid (works) and what are real benefits of it ?
It restore ability to purchase/book again services via ConnectedDrive ?
