Explained in simple terms, the selective (or adaptive) high beam works with adjustable flaps and by changing the horizontal tilt. For example when you follow a car in a corner.

Are you aware of the fact that you can code the high beam assistant to be always on when you start the car (and have the headlight knob turned to "auto")? Get's rid of the fact that you need to remeber to turn it on

Yes i am. Coding equipment is available. So far I havn´t yet done the coding.
