I'm trying to code the headlight washer so it doesn't activate above 5 km/h. It defaults to 160 km/h. The speed limit of 5 km/h is supposed to be activated during the MOT, but not while driving, since it tends to dirty the windshield more than anything else while driving... and the headlight washer caps don't fit particularly well anymore... Also, when it rains, I usually stop every so often and clean the headlights if they're really dirty and can't be seen well...
I've seen that in Bimmercode (for the F10), you have to do it in the passenger compartment, specifically:
CAF [JBBFE] => 3000 Wipe_Wash
And in expert mode, go to:
SRA_GESCHWINDIGKEITS_DEAKTIVIERUNG and set werte to 05
However, that value doesn't allow you to set it, as it only shows 00 (not active), 01, 02, 03, and 04, which I understand are the values that appear in
IGR_SPEED_THRESHOLD
160 km/h 0xA0 01
120KM/H 0x78 02
140KM/H 0X8C 03
180KM/H 0XB4 04
I've tried adding a custom value here in IGR_SPEED_THRESHOLD with 0x05 (5km/h) and 0x0A (10km/h) and it works, but then in
SRA_GESCHWINDIGKEITS_DEAKTIVIERUNG it still won't let me enter values other than the old 00 (not active), 01, 02, 03, and 04......
Does anyone know how to do this?
